This vase takes an ovoid shape, almost like a rounded pyramid with a flat top. The work also features a beautiful color scheme very typical of Meier’s work in this period of time, with a green-tinged cream glaze at the top bleeding into mint green on the lower half, mottled all over with areas of light tan. The effect of this color scheme gives the work a light, meditative quality.
