A fine hand thrown stoneware vase by Emile Lenoble. The elegantly proportioned body is decorated with a broad central band of incised undulating motifs, running vertically around the form. A similarly jagged geometric design encircles the neck. The rich brown glaze set against the exposed stoneware creates a bold, stunning effect.
Marks: Impressed artist's cypher; inscribed 319, 219, 7.
