Phillips to offer specialist dealer's art pottery

Stoneware vase by Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat from c.1895, estimate $18,000-24,000 at Phillips in New York on December 9.

Art Nouveau-era art pottery from the collection of Jason Jacques, the well-known specialist dealer in this field, will be offered on December 9.

Among the almost 30 examples being sold at the Design auction at Phillips in New York is this large 2ft 2in (66cm) high example of a stoneware vase by Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat from c.1895 covered in his trademark 'Dalpayrat Red' sang de boeuf glaze.

The vase, which is incised Dalpayrat to the underside, has an estimate of $18,000-24,000
