A sinuous tendril flows seamlessly from the rim of this gourd-shaped ewer, gracefully curving downward and wrapping around the neck, the swirling tips of the vine gently adhering to the bulbous body. Decorated in a masterful mottled glaze in shades of muted green and brown, this is a superb example Kann's designs for Sévres during the Art Nouveau era.
Marks: Sevres Manufacturer's Triangular Stamp, 1900.
