This figure is blue, white, gold, and stoneware in between. Her confident stance and weary expression are compounded by the efervescent effect of the dappled galze. She almost looks like a child who's just come back in from playing in puddles and yet, miraculously, did not get a spot of dirt on her shoes— they are a shinging spot of gold that sets the piece apart, anchoring ever slightly further in fantasy.
