This extremely small box has been glazed in a pure white color, all decoration coming in the form of texture. The round body of the box features vertically incised lines, topped with a row of raised dots. On the lid that sits flush with the box, four raised dots echo those on the body. A large rounded dot protrudes from the center of the lid and functions as a handle. The lid’s glaze is beautifully crackled, adding variety to the otherwise solid color of the work.
