Sunset Basket

The yawning void at the base of this sculptture evokes the tremendous, satisfying swell of a gulp of cold air. It is crowned with a moody cloud of orange and gray glazed clay, an effervescent response to the the warm coloring and subtle warping of the sculpture's the lower portion.
