This late Meier work takes the form of a flattened sphere, two rounded circles of clay crimped together at their edges. The vase features a small base and neck of the same size, and an interestingly flared mouth. A dual color scheme of a brilliant sapphire blue and subdued tan and brown covers the body of the vase, while the inner portion of the mouth has been glazed in an almost green-ish brown, a color echoed on the crimped edges of the sphere.
