Jason Jacques Gallery: Des céramiques d'exception/Cunning Ceramics

TL Magazine

September 1, 2017

"Jason Jacques Gallery is housed in a dramatic Upper East Side townhouse -- the perfect setting for the world's most comprehensive collection of nineteenth-century European art pottery," writes Adrian Medlener. "The collection is predominantly comprised of art nouveau and Japonism masterworks. While displaying stoneware by historic icons like Ernest Chaplet and Jean Carriès and lusterware by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer and Vilmos Zsolnay, Jacques also represents contemporary talents like Gareth Mason, Katsuyo Aoki, and Beth Cavener. Jason Jacques is a member of the SNA (the French national antique dealers' association) and TEFAF. TL Mag spoke to Jacques about his gallery, New York, and one iconic piece."
