This exceptional earthenware vase is from the Grés-Bijou (or jeweled stoneware) series, introduced by Amphora in 1904. With handles that resemble sinuously intertwined plant stems and encrusted cabochons, this piece is a modern adaptation of a traditional, medieval chalice shape with an Art Nouveau twist.
