Valdemar Engelhardt
Valdemar Engelhardt was a ceramic chemist employed at Royal Copenhagen from 1891 until 1915. An expert in crystalline and flambé glazes, he was responsible for some of the best pieces to come from the manufactory. Engelhardt's mark, VE, in addition to the Royal Copenhagen mark, is shown above.
