Description

A beautifully thick mottled celadon glaze covers this small Chinese-inspired vase. Two applied elements glazed in a contrasting glossy brown appear on the shoulder. They refer to bronze loop handles that sometimes appeared on antique Chinese vases. Marks: painted artist's cipher, 52.E, inscribed 83A
