Description

This intriguing vase has a globe-shaped center located between a high, flaring foot and cylindrical neck. The black-glazed body is ornamented with bands of incised geometric designs leading to a central rondel that can be interpreted as a sun disk. A clear top layer of glaze unites the designs.
