Description

This charming vase is a synthesis of the organic and Symbolist threads of Art Nouveau era design. The four shapely loops that form buttress handles at the shoulder balance the bell shape of the vessel and also suggest vines or branches emerging from the surface. Leaves, spiders, and webs have been etched and painted on the body, which is further embellished with a luster glaze.
