Description

This hand-built vessel features a distinctive design of leaves whose diagonal disposition creates a pleasing rhythmic composition. As with many of Raoul Lachenal's Art Nouveau ceramics, here a robust aesthetic is achieved through the coarse modeling of stoneware decorated with a thick reduction glaze. Marks: incised Raoul Lachenal
