Description

A stoneware vase of Japonist inspiration, this example of Dalpayrat's work is a monumental quadrilobe form decorated with a superb copper flambé glaze with blue and yellow marbling. Networks of dripping glaze add a tactile and visual complexity that rivals expressionist paintings of the 1950s.
