Description

The cover of this splendid box pictures a draped deer carrying a flowering plant. Stylized eyes and Klimt-like emblems fill the remaining spaces. This piece may have had personal meaning to its creator. The central element is a daguet (brocket deer) bearing treasures, perhaps signifying the artist himself offering the gift of his work to a special recipient.
