Description

A vase made by the Sèvres National Manufactory for the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle. The dimpled body incorporates two handles which meet at the lip, from which two protrusions emerge. This curious design gives the piece the appearance of an abstractly rendered owl. Decorated with a rich flambé glaze in copper red and sapphire blue upon a white ground.
