Description

This elegantly shaped hard porcelain vase, painted by Gotfred Rode, has an underglaze decor of a marabou stork striding through a stone-filled riverbed. Rode worked as a porcelain painter at Royal Copenhagen from 1896 to 1933. Marks: manufacturer's stamp, signed G. Rode near base
