Delphin Massier's alluring iridescent bottle-shaped vase employs a combination of dripping, craquelure, etching and painting to create a shimmering lily pond landscape. In vibrant shades of turquoise, gold, pink, and lavender, the scene includes rippling water, water lilies and leaves, and allusions to overhanging trees.
