Description

An earthenware vase of baluster form, this example displays an underglaze decor of leaping carp, probably of Japanese inspiration. The the fine irregular patterning reminds us that Rozenburg's aesthetic was partly inspired by Indonesian batiks. Marks: painted crane, Den Haag; incised LW Burg.
