Description

A metal circlet of ivy encircles the neck of this exotic bottle, adding a touch of glamour to the already fascinating flambe coating. The glaze is a composition of turquoise, red, green and blue so subtle that it appears to have been created by nature. Marked Dalpayrat on the base. On the base: incised signature and fragment of the original paper label. Dalpayrat is one of four artists chosen by the French government to appear on a series of Art Nouveau postage stamps.
