Three clouds of fantastically lustrous blooms envelop this covered vase which, in form, follows in the centuries-old Islamic / Italian tradition of albarelli. Individual blossoms, leave, and whiplash stems emerge often enough to suggest an all-over paisley pattern. A lid with a finial and a stemmed base add height and interesting profile elements. Measurements are with lid. Marks: painted logo in circle, artist's name, (Mugello Italia)
