Jason Jacques will be among the leaders in the international antiques market exhibiting at the prestigious International Fine Art and Antiques Dealers Show (IFAAD) in New York City in October. He is currently assembling a provocative collection of rare late-19th and early-20th century decorative arts that will challenge many preconceptions about modernity and internationalism. During the run of the IFAAD, we will also be hosting an exhibition titled Exotica at the gallery, located at 29 East 73rd Street, only a few blocks north of the Armory. After years of research, travel, and collecting, Jacques and the gallery will celebrate the exotic influences on European decorative arts created between 1875 and 1920. The show will include more than 100 objects including ceramics, metalware, needlework, and furniture that illustrate the impact of distant cultures at a time of social unrest and political upheaval. If you are visiting New York for IFAADS, we invite you to see us at booth G-6 and also look forward to meeting with you at the gallery.
